Won’t You Meet Our Neighbor? Introducing LaneyBell Home & Gift

Meet Annie Quigley, the artist behind LaneyBell Home & Gift, and see how Brickerville House is introducing the neighbors around Bricker Village.

There’s a new neighbor moving in, and naturally, we have to introduce you.

If you’ve ever come to Brickerville House for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and found yourself exploring the shops afterward, you already know there’s plenty happening beyond our restaurant doors.

Bricker Village is home to a collection of locally owned businesses, each with its own story, personality, and reasons to stop in. Some have been here for years. Others, like our newest neighbor, are just getting started. Brickerville House has been surrounded by specialty shops for decades, with the property developing over time into the Bricker Village we know today.

That gave us an idea.

Won’t You Meet Our Neighbor? is a new series where we’ll introduce you to the people and stories behind the businesses surrounding Brickerville House and help you get to know some of the neighbors we see every day.

First up: LaneyBell Home & Gift.

Meet the Creative Behind LaneyBell

LaneyBell Home & GiftLaneyBell Home & Gift may be new to Bricker Village, but owner Annie Quigley is no stranger to the world of art, home decor, and retail.

Annie is a Pennsylvania-based fine artist and designer whose path to becoming a professional artist has taken more than a few interesting turns. Her love of art began early, encouraged by a family that gave her plenty of room to create. After returning home from college, an unexpected career change eventually pushed her to pursue that creativity professionally.

Not long afterward, Annie and her mom had the opportunity to open a home and gift boutique together. She spent four years helping run the shop while building her own career, eventually transitioning from photography to painting and selling her original work. That experience also introduced her to art licensing and planted the seeds for what would become a much larger career in fine art and design.

Since then, Annie has spent more than a decade creating artwork, with her designs making their way onto products and into retailers including Kohl’s, Nordstrom, Francesca’s, and Hobby Lobby. Today, her fine art and design studio is known for colorful florals, vintage-inspired details, and pieces created for homes that feel collected over time.

Now, her story is circling back to where part of it began.

On September 12, Annie will open LaneyBell Home & Gift at Bricker Village, returning to the home and gift shop world with a new storefront of her own.

And considering some of Annie’s favorite childhood memories involve antique shopping with her mom, we’d say she’s landed in a pretty fitting neighborhood!

Part of Something Bigger

One of the things that makes Brickerville House a little different is what surrounds it.

The restaurant sits at the heart of Bricker Village, where a meal can easily become one part of a larger day. Within a short walk of our doors, you can explore antiques, shop for handmade goods and consignment finds, pick up chocolates, taste locally made wine, take part in a creative workshop, and so much more.

Having all of that within walking distance gives the restaurant a setting you don’t find everywhere. You can come solely for a meal, of course, but there’s always the option to see what else is happening around the Village while you’re here.

For us, that’s simply part of what it means to call Bricker Village home.

Come Hungry, Leave With Plans

Of course, we’ll always be here for the food.

Maybe your day starts with Cinnabun Pancakes or Fresh Corned Beef Hash before you head out to visit the shops. Maybe you stop in for a Cranberry Pecan Melt or burger halfway through the afternoon. Or maybe shopping comes first and a homestyle dinner, dessert, or pot of loose-leaf tea sounds especially good afterward.

There’s no particular order to it.

This property has welcomed people for generations, and today, Brickerville House continues to be a place you can build a day around.

We’re happy to be the part with the food.

We’ll Introduce You to Someone Else Next Time

For our first Won’t You Meet Our Neighbor?, we hope you enjoyed getting to know a little more about Annie and the story behind the newest shop coming to Bricker Village.

There are plenty of other people around here we think you should meet, too. We’ll save those introductions for another day.

In the meantime, come see us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and take a look around while you’re here.

You never know who we’ll introduce you to next.
