Barista/Bartender
Do you have a passion for crafting delicious drinks and providing excellent customer service? We seek a skilled and enthusiastic Barista/Bartender to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a variety of coffee beverages, cocktails, and specialty drinks, ensuring that each one is made to perfection. This position is great for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and thrive on interacting with team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee, espresso, and tea beverages
- Craft cocktails and other mixed drinks according to our menu and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee and bar stations
- Interact with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Server
At Brickerville House, we are always eager to meet with Servers with flexible schedules and a commitment to excellent service. Our servers play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Answer questions about our menu and make recommendations as needed
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Host
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and professional Host/Hostess to join our team at The Brickerville House. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive. You will work closely with the rest of the team to manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring an organized and efficient flow of guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Answer phone calls, and assist guests with inquiries about the restaurant.
- Manage waitlists and inform guests of expected wait times.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm and positive under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Line Cook/Prep Cook
We are always interested in meeting motivated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cooks to join our culinary team at The Brickerville House. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards of quality and consistency, ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and collaborate closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Line Cook Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate food according to menu specifications and customer orders.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and served on time.
- Work the line during service, efficiently managing assigned stations (grill, sauté, fry, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Keep track of cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to the appropriate level
Prep Cook Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking as per the menu.
- Portion and store ingredients to ensure they are ready for use during service.
- Prepare and stock food items such as meats, vegetables, and sauces in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, ensuring all tools, equipment, and utensils are sanitized.
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages to kitchen management.
- Help ensure that all food is prepared, stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
